Sequatchie County

Recently we headed down to Sequatchie County, Tennessee to visit some of Lindsey's family.  It was one of those vacations that you look back at in 10 years and think very fondly on.  Lots of driving and lots of beautiful scenery.

The Moyer's and Lindsey's parents went along too which was great.  We had some help with Macy Mace and we got to enjoy 3 of our favorite nephews.

On the way down ... we took the long way and enjoyed some great sights.

We stayed at a Marriott in Chattanooga.  It was newly remodeled and we basically had it to ourselves for two nights.  Bazinga!

We all went to Rock City which is just over the Georgia border and we had a BLAST.  If you get a chance to go here, do it.  Kid and adult friendly!  The above picture was of the rope bridge you go over, there are a couple chickens who took an alternate route, but I won't name any names :).

Jack looking over the edge.  From that point you can see into 7 different states.  Notice Linds' death grip on Jack :).

This is the ledge that Jack is standing on in the above picture.

We also took the kids to the Tennessee Valley Rail Road Museum.  Unfortunately I didn't have any pictures of this on my phone so you'll just have to take my word for it.

Both destinations were big hits and most of all great memories.

If you are like me, music can define certain moments.  For me this was the song that that really defined the trip for me.  It's mountainy and it just triggers that something in me.

Cory may pass out just looking at the rope bridge and lookout mountain.

Also - Is it possible that you have a "Ritter" in your future? I can't believe that possibility wasn't passed around w/ Macy! Or was it??
