Fair Weather Fan

The last few days have been a very good look into a typical Midwestern, fall agenda.  Football, the raking of leaves and the consumption of warm beverages are high on the priority list.  Our menu has seen the entry of soup and other warmish/crock pot delicacies.

A lot of people claim this is there favorite time of the year, but my suspicion is Fall is where the phrase "Fair Weather Fan" comes from.  People get enamored with the colors and the smells ... it seems ideal.  BUT, I would wager deep on the inside people are longing for those long summer nights.  People always love the summer.

Now, if you know anything about me, you know I love cold weather.  I like fall, but its by no means my favorite time of the year.  Winter is where my allegiance will forever stay.  Winter is where you get to bundle up and hunker down.  I LOVE hunkering down.

Two posts in two weeks? I'm gobsmacked.

Also, I feel I know you quite well, but I do not remember knowing that Winter is your favorite. Really? REALLY?????
